For October, we’re leaning into spooky season with Hungerstone by Kat Dunn. This dark, atmospheric reimagining of Carmilla brings together gothic horror, sapphic tension, and a wonderfully unsettling Victorian setting. We chose it for the deliciously eerie atmosphere, but also because October feels like the perfect time to explore stories that blur the line between desire and danger, intimacy and obsession. Come for the vampires, stay for the complicated women, haunted houses, and deliciously dark vibes.
